Armed Forces Day Parade 2013

Enfield is continuing its long-standing tradition of hosting an Armed Forces Day Parade to honour the sacrifices of our country’s military. The event will take place on Sunday 30th June

This year, Enfield Council will be supporting the brave men and women from Enfield Royal British Legion honouring them once again with a parade that will begin at 11.40am outside Chase Side Primary School in Trinity Street, EN2.

Serving troops and their families, veterans, recruits and cadets, will participate in the parade. It will be led by The Caledonian Pipers Band, and will march through Enfield Town, the cleaners in Enfield said.

Residents and well wishers are very welcome to line the route.
Councillor Doug Taylor, Leader of Enfield Council said that he has the deepest respects for all those involved in the armed forces. He hopes that residents will also come to the parade and honour those who have lost their lives so bravely in the defence of freedom
